Warsaw has second thougts
Shift in Polish foreign policy: Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski said the new Warsaw government was not prepared to accept U.S. plans to deploy part of its anti-ballistic missile shield in Poland until all costs and risks were considered. Warsaw is worried that the United States could abandon the project after the American presidential election in November. In that case, Poland would have to bear political costs, like the deterioration of relations with Russia, if it signed on to the shield prematurely. And now what?
